Currently we are seeking a “Software Test Analyst” for one of our clients that is a leading multination corporation.
Position: Software Test Analyst
Location: Lansing, MI (Hybrid – 2 days a week)
Duration: 12-month contract with high possibility of extension.
Description
• The resource will act in a tester and analyst role for various in-flight projects. The resource will work in an agile environment to write and execute use cases, test plans and develop testing scripts for custom .NET web applications.
• Must Have senior level (5 years) experience and proficiency in the following:
• Designing and executing manual and automated test cases.
• Understanding of the secure application development lifecycle (SADLC).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
• Understanding of software testing methodologies and quality assurance processes (Quality Assurance, User Acceptance, System Integration, Accessibility, Performance, Regression, Post Deployment Validation, Data Conversion).
• Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and design test cases.
• Java and JavaScript
• Issue tracking and defect management.
• Generating and documenting test plans and strategies.
• Generating testing reports and metrics.
• API testing and tools like Postman, Rest Client and others.
• Writing SQL, P-SQL queries.
• ADA Compliance testing tools, such as AccVerify, JAWS, etc.
• Generating and acquiring test data.
• Ability to work in person in downtown Lansing 2 days a week.
• Build environments {DEV, UAT, QAT, PRE-PROD} specific test suites with integrated application life cycle management.
Nice to Have:
• Experience with industry standard automated testing tools and frameworks (Selenium, Provar, Katalon, etc.).
• Experience using Azure DevOps Testing Module.
• Experience with Mobile App testing of iOS and Android applications.
• Knowledge of performance and load testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner.
