POSITION SUMMARY:
The Journeyman, CBA reports to the Senior Director, Installation

As a Journeyman within the Carpenter's Building Association (CBA), you will play a key role in contributing to the success of construction projects through your advanced carpentry skills and experience. This position requires a candidate with a proven track record in carpentry, a focus on safety, and a dedication to achieving project goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carpentry Expertise:
Utilize advanced carpentry skills in the construction of structures and components.
Interpret and follow construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
Project Contribution:
Work collaboratively with the project team to achieve project goals and timelines.
Contribute to the efficient and effective completion of construction tasks.
Quality Craftsmanship:
Ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship in all carpentry work.
Conduct quality control inspections to verify compliance with project specifications.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to and promote strict safety protocols on construction sites.
Participate in safety training programs and maintain a commitment to a safe working environment.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with fellow carpenters, apprentices, and other team members.
Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members.
Material Handling:
Efficiently handle, transport, and organize construction materials.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of carpentry tools and equipment.
Problem Solving:
Address and resolve challenges and issues that arise during construction.
Contribute to problem-solving initiatives to keep projects on track.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used, and any deviations from project plans.
Document progress and challenges for reporting purposes.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Completion of a recognized carpentry apprenticeship program, or equivalent military or practical experience.
Journeyman certification or equivalent credential in carpentry.
3 years of experience as a Journeyman Carpenter in the construction industry.
Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and construction standards.
Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
Salary : $30 - $32
