POSITION SUMMARY:
The Associate Service Technician reports to the Senior Service, Manager

A Kitchen Equipment Associate Service Technician is responsible for providing intermediate-level service, repair, and installation of foodservice equipment at customer locations. This role requires strong customer interaction skills, technical expertise, and the ability to work independently.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Technical Support:
Assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues reported by clients.
Learn and apply technical knowledge to resolve problems efficiently.
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment as directed.
Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
Customer Interaction:
Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
Provide clear and concise explanations of technical issues and solutions.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of service activities, including work performed, parts used, and resolutions applied.
Complete service reports and submit them in a timely manner.
Training and Development:
Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Seek guidance from experienced technicians to enhance learning.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines during service activities.
Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
0 – 1 years of experience in a technical or service-related role, or equivalent military or practical experience.
Technical certification or coursework in a relevant field is a plus.
Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Bend or twist body.
Use hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools. or controls.
Stand for long periods of time.
Keep or regain their balance.
