As a key member of the tax team, the role will be responsible for supporting the tax department function with duties related income tax compliance and planning, reporting requirements and analysis of technical tax and accounting calculations.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF TAX MANAGER
- Oversee the tax compliance process for federal, state, and international tax.
- Assist with additional corporate tasks as assigned, such as managing property tax compliance.
- Participate in the preparation and analysis of quarterly projections.
- Assist with tax audits.
- Analyze transactions and financial statements to determine proper tax treatment of items.
- Research and prepare memoranda outlining findings and conclusions for various tax matters.
- Coordinate deliverables of tax filings and monitor due dates.
- Participate in special projects as requested
QUALIFICATIONS OF THE TAX MANAGER
- Bachelor’s degree accounting required. Master’s degree in accounting or tax a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of public accounting and/or private industry experience.
- CPA required.
- Some international tax and BEPS Pillar II reporting a plus.
- Aptitude for learning new software applications.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience handling highly sensitive and confidential information.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with corporate level tax team and with other departments, subsidiaries, and affiliates.
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to research and resolve issues independently and effectively and communicate actions as required.
- Ability to efficiently adapt to changing business needs.
- Works with purpose and a sense of urgency; deadline focused, and commitment driven.

Target salary range: $125,000 – $145,000 DOE. 401K, PTO, insurance and much more!
