Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities :
- Design and supervise the construction of mechanical aspects of pilot plants, focusing on process equipment and pressure vessel design.
- Conduct stress analysis, Finite Element Analysis (FEA), and oversee stainless steel fabrication, piping, flow systems, heat transfer, instrumentation, and controls.
- Provide hands-on oversight of design and drafting activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Utilize CAD / design software (AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS, Codeware) to produce high-quality engineering designs.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge of ASME Sec 8 Div 1 (pressure vessels) and PED codes in design, analysis, and fabrication.
- Collaborate with project teams and interact with clients, customers, vendors, suppliers, and fabricators.
- Support equipment assembly, start-up, installation, validation, and field service as needed.
- Travel domestically and internationally for equipment commissioning at customer sites, with trips lasting 2-3 days, and one 1-2 week trip annually.
