Job Description
The Designer position will provide engineering drafting, design, and technical support to facilitate the successful development of new systems and prototype products or modifications and revisions to current systems and products.
SOLIDWORKS Mechanical Designer Job Requirements
- Candidates must have at least 3-5 years of mechanical design experience using SOLIDWORKS CAD Software
- SOLIDWORKS Certification a plus
- Experience with sheet metal & metal fabrication
- Must be able to communicate in a team environment
- Support the design team with Engineering Change Orders (ECO’S) and drawing redline changes
- Creating 2D drawings from 3D part files
- Must be able to work onsite (No Remote Work)
- Experience utilizing SolidWorks CAD to do 3D modeling work preferred
- Experience creating 2D drawings preferred
- Experience with ISO, MIL STD’s and ASME STD’s a plus not required
- Ability to work with design team to update models and drawings from design reviews and support any necessary design changes
- GD&T experience preferred
