PROFILE
The TriMech Marketing team is seeking an enthusiastic and detail driven Event Specialist to join our team! What is cooler than promoting some of the world’s most innovative design and manufacturing technology? In this role, you will be helping our Sales and Technical teams showcase the technology to clients and prospects at unique events and trade shows across North America.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning, execution, and follow-up for trade shows, and in-person events.
- Coordination of pre-show promotions, on-site logistics, vendor orders, audio visual requirements, materials ordering, shipping, and inventory, and in some cases coordinating travel (hotels).
- Venue research and cost comparison.
- Work closely with internal teams such as Marketing, Technical and Sales, to ensure strategic consistency.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the events’ budgets and submitting results to our OEMs.
- Maintain calendar of events and work with additional Marketing team members for advertisement of all events.
- Work with SEO/PPC team for event promotion and tracking of success.
- Develop pre-event status reports, post-event reports and budget tracking.
- Develop or update any standard outlines of events and trade shows that will be accessible to the team.
- Help coordinate any internal meetings as needed with location scouting, venue selection, budgeting, room blocks, menu set up, payment, etc.
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- 1-3 years’ experience in trade show and/or event planning/ coordination.
- Experience coordinating work of meeting planners, content developers, creative services, graphic designers, sales teams, and vendors.
- Experience with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot/Pardot/Marketo is an asset.
- Located in Knoxville, TN – position requires access to TriMech office for shipping and receiving supplies.
- Some travel required within North America.
