What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Executive position at TriMech?
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- 100% direct sales to existing customers in an assigned territory and 50% net new business
- Initiate sales activities to inspire, educate and develop account relationships for SOLIDWORKS suite of products and TriMech’s solutions
- Identify, evaluate, and respond to key business issues of the account and develop, present and demonstrate SOLIDWORKS and TriMech’s capabilities to the potential customer
- Introduce and integrate our technical team as well as SOLIDWORKS and Solution Partner resources to the customer to demonstrate capabilities
- Provide territory management data including forecasts, account management documentation, activity reports and a working business plan for the assigned territory to management utilizing Salesforce CRM
- Prospect in respective territories through cold calling, OEM lead follow-up, seminar attendance, trade show and other events.
- Respond to and follow up sales enquiries timely by telephone, email, video meeting and personal visits.
- Maintain a living forecast of 30-60-90-day activity and weekly activity reports
- Present solutions to customers/prospects using PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.
- Work with the technical team to present a strong business solution to our prospects and customers
- Continually engage with clients and prospects within assigned territory
- Maintain quota as assigned by Regional Sales Manager
- Attend training and develop relevant knowledge and skills through research and reading industry publications and related materials
REQUIREMENTS
- 3-5 years of experience in Software Sales or Technology Solution sales - preferred
- 2-5 Years of Solution Sales Experience, preferably the engineering/manufacturing industry
- 3-5 years of outside sales experience preferred
- University or college degree preferred but experience and results achievement considered equal
- Consistent track record of successful business to business software or professional services sales
- Demonstrable professional sales skills and solid references
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Effective time management and organizational abilities
- Experience selling SOLIDWORKS or competitive products an asset but not required
- An innovative and ‘make it happen’ attitude
- Capable of appreciating and meeting aggressive sales goals
- Experience with a CRM system, preferably Salesforce
- Must have a reliable means of transportation and a valid Driver’s license
- Ability to travel within assigned region
- Weekly in-person meeting required
- Exceptional ability to function in a team environment, appreciate aggressive sales goals, superior communication, organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in MS Office Products
