Lead Engineer- Electrical Job Description
Currently hiring for a fulltime Lead Engineer with electrical or mechatronics background to support product development of both commercial and military related products and systems.
Lead Engineer- Electrical Job Responsibilities:
· Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related results in a cooperative and supportive manner
· Support proposals, technical write ups, and provides quotes to Sales and BD
· Completion of activity on-time and budget while meeting the applicable technical requirements
· Drives best practices and lessons learned
· Manages budgets, costs, and schedule inputs for projects assigned
· Supports, communicates, reinforces, and defends the mission, values, and culture of the organization
· Participates in and leads technical reviews
· Drives the compliance with design to cost, weight, and manufacture
Lead Engineer- Electrical Job Responsibilities:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited school required; MS Engineering, PE license or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of five to seven years of experience leading Electrical Engineering personnel required.
· 6 plus years’ experience in similar technical role with military and defense applications.
· Must be able to speak, read and understand English
· Able to work independently on a weekly basis
· Competent technical expertise
· SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDWORKS Electrical experience required; AutoCAD experience required
· In-depth knowledge of ASTM E1851-15, IEEE 299, MIL-STD-285, MIL-STD-188/125, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464.
· Military/ defense experience preferred.
