Position Description:

As an Apprentice Operator, you'll play a crucial role in the operation of Trimmr's leased equipment, focusing on the automation lines used in cannabis cultivation and post-harvest processing. Working closely with the Post-Harvest Supervisor, you'll be an integral part of our automated processing line, gaining valuable experience to improve quality and efficiency. These apprentice positions are based in the northern NY (Queensbury) area, and you will work on-site at cultivator locations. Candidates should be willing to commute up to 1 hour to various cultivator locations as required.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain Trimmr's leased equipment, including our Mobius Trimmr line, according to standard operating procedures under the guidance of the Post-Harvest Supervisor.
• Perform hand trimming and outfeed quality assurance from our Mobius Trimmr line, ensuring precision and adherence to quality standards.
• Participate as a key member of our automated processing line, learning from experienced operators to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Take part in Trimmr's workforce development and training programs, acquiring the necessary skills for successful post-harvest operations.
• Ensure compliance, data capture, and reporting requirements are met for each project utilizing our proprietary Plant Ops system for tracking of material.
• Stay up-to-date with Trimmr's post-harvest solutions and technologies through continuous learning and training.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements, assisting in ensuring Trimmr's services are compliant.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Demonstrated passion for the cannabis industry and a strong desire to learn and grow as an operator.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Punctual, reliable, and committed to delivering quality work.
• Good hand dexterity and the ability to handle repetitive tasks.
• Able to perform hand trimming and maintain precision in quality assurance.
• Able to manage tasks requiring fine manual detail.
• Strong understanding of process-oriented operations for consistent outcomes.
• Exceptional communication and relationship skills.
• A willingness to learn and share knowledge freely with others.
• Good-spirited, kind-hearted, and committed to operating with integrity and honesty.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to regularly lift up to 30 lbs.

• Are you available to work a 10-hour shift, 1-5 days a week, M-F, starting around 7:30-9:30 am?
• Do you own and have full access to a reliable vehicle you can use to commute and an valid Drivers License?
• We are a mobile post-harvest service provider, delivering trimming services on-site at various locations in New York. Shifts choice is flexible, but you NEED TO BE OPEN TO COMMUTING UP TO 1.0 hours.
