Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Control Valve Applications Engineer located in Coral Springs, FL. The Control Valve Applications Engineer will support customers with technical and commercial information during quoting, project execution, and aftermarket stages. Answer technical questions regarding control valves, material recommendations, pneumatic systems, and digital products. Answer commercial questions regarding terms of contracts, lead times, and documentation requirements. Facilitate development and improvement of Trimteck’s AccuValve Sizing & Specification software.
Qualifications
- Communicate with customers to gather relevant process information and technical requirements with the goal of exceeding the customer's expectations
- Accurately size and specify control valve solutions - using Trimteck's AccuValve Sizing Software - that maximize compliance with customer specifications and provide comments, clarifications, and alternatives to customer requirements
- Prepare and present technical quotations utilizing sales and data manuals, valve data sheets, dimensional drawings, tables, charts, product brochures, applications notes, etc.
- Ensure that all elements of the quoting process are completed accurately and on time, including all technical and commercial elements, terms and conditions reviews, sales approval processes, and customer documentation
- Coordinate with internal Trimteck teams i.e. Purchasing, Design Engineering, Manufacturing, and Logistics to process and execute customer purchase orders
