PRIMARY SUMMARY
The Warehouse Shift Lead oversees all warehouse functions. Schedule employee shifts and assign duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Day-to-day management and coordination
- Responsible for the overall work affairs and daily work management of the warehouse, and coordinate the work between the department and various functional departments.
- Formulate and revise the operating procedures and management systems for warehouse receipt, dispatch and storage, and improve the processes and standards of warehouse management.
- Responsible for the daily work of the warehouse keeper, so that the daily work is efficient, accurate and orderly.
- Warehouse planning and layout. Responsible for the daily accounting work of the warehouse in and out of the warehouse to ensure that the account cards and materials are consistent.
- Organize the warehouse regularly, and conscientiously do a good job in the classification and placement of warehouse materials.
- Responsible for organizing the warehouse inventory work to ensure that the cards, accounts and objects are consistent.
- Responsible for the daily management of warehouse security, including fire prevention, anti-theft, moisture-proof, etc.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of the warehouse to ensure the safety of the warehouse.
- Training and assessment, provide work guidance and business knowledge training to warehouse personnel.
- Regularly assess warehouse personnel to improve the quality and work efficiency of employees.
- Quality Control & Improvement, Responsible for supervising the handling of defective materials and sluggish materials.
- Propose improvement methods and techniques to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Teamwork and communication. Responsible for communicating with relevant departments on various warehouse matters.
- Establish a good communication mechanism, communicate and communicate with employees on a regular basis, and understand the work situation and needs of employees.
