The Maintenance Intern will support a high-impact project to improve the Electrical Distribution System documentation and physical condition of panel labeling and space identification, contributing to the overall safety of personnel and equipment. Furthermore, this position will play an integral role in improvements to emergency response plans relating to electrical system isolation, and potentially including development of visual / written communication tools, standard procedures for various scenarios, and training material for Operations teams.
Essential Functions :

- Quickly familiarize with existing electrical infrastructure and current state of relevant documentation.
- Review emergency response plans and documents, identifying any gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- In collaboration with Engineering and Maintenance teams, assess and prioritize electrical distribution panels in order to create a plan of action for improvement.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Operations staff to arrange and conduct any required panel or breaker testing in support of panel documentation or procedure improvements.
- Record improvements in support of training and assist in developing relevant emergency response training content.

Salary Range : $20.00 - $25.00
The starting pay will be based on several factors, including but not limited to experience, training, education, and geographic location.
