Summary
This position assists the Director of Accessibility Services with administrative duties and testing needs of students with disabilities. Duties include maintaining detailed documentation of accommodation requests and action taken; coordinating adaptive technology use; and administering the testing services offered by the Office of Accessibility Services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedule tests for students and communicate with faculty (i.e., requesting tests, communicating when questions arise).
- Ensure integrity and efficiency of accommodated testing for students with disabilities.
- Coordinate use of adaptive technology and auxiliary aids.
- Work closely with students, faculty, and staff to enable students to achieve educational goals and assist the college in achieving retention metrics.
- Process related paperwork and maintain confidential student files.
- Manage student data collection, storage, and delivery procedures using various software applications.
- Perform other tasks as assigned. (printing schedules, test delivery, assisting with finals’ schedules).
- Provide coverage for Testing Services Desk.
- May supervise student staff.
Education and/or Experience
Associates degree from a four-year college or university, student life or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
