WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Seed Production & Planning Manager: Ensure that all facilities of the seed division achieve and maintain product inventories that provide the desired level of quality and availability for every pedigree of every variety that can be utilized for any repopulation or sales opportunity that arises.
WHAT WE NEED
MUST-HAVES:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY :
- Fiscal responsibility and financial acumen
- Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced operations planning environment
- Ability to create accountability, work collaboratively, and to lead by example
- Knowledge and experience in complying with state and federal seed production requirements
- Strong team-building, decision-making, and people management skills
- Superior organizational skills with the ability to look ahead and anticipate problems
- Effective time management and delegation abilities
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Must display a positive attitude
- Ability to handle the stress of deadlines and constantly changing priorities
- Strong computer/technical skills
- Ability to evaluate situations and make decisions with little or no guidance
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as the seasonality of business demands.
