What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Quality Technician position at Trinity Biotech USA?
Quality Control
- Perform Quality Control testing of manufactured product, component and final kit, manually and on automated equipment.
- Data reduction and review of completed assays.
- Maintenance of department equipment in conjunction with Equipment Technician.
- Knowledge of OSHA, ISO 9001, FDA QSR and other regulatory standards within the department.
Quality Assurance
- Performance of product failure investigations
- Performance of assays (including performance verification, stability, and accelerated stability) required for change control projects.
- Aliquoting of sera for use in serum panels. Range assays for serum panel sera.
- Performance of the assays required for Trinity Biotech, USA’s stability program.
- Performance of Technical Service assays, including customer complaint investigations for infectious disease, chemistries and automation.
- Performance of proficiency surveys for Technical Service.
- Performance of routine cleaning validation monitoring.
- Performance of evaluations using competitor kits and IFAs.
Product Development
- Assistance with PD feasibility studies and pilot evaluations for new, improved, or transferred products.
Education: Minimum Associates Degree in Life Science, Bachelor’s preferred
Experience: Lab experience preferred. On the job training will be provided.
Skills: Strong science and math skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
