Construction Scheduler

Douglas Brooke Legacy family of companies is looking for a Dispatching Scheduler to help support our growing, fast paced business. The Dispatching Scheduler will work closely with a team, ordering and ensuring proper delivery of materials for construction projects.

This individual must have exceptional communication and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite is required. Working knowledge of Apple products and BuilderTrend is a plus.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Produce materials list on a daily basis.
• Coordinate and monitor the movement of supplies and materials onto the construction site, and ensure that supplies and construction materials are received on schedule and in proper amounts.
• Maintain accurate log of material deliveries for billing purposes.
• Accurately schedule trade partners for open jobs utilizing logic and sequencing knowledge to maintain project schedules accurately.
• Maintain accuracy of BuilderTrend schedules, ensuring completed items are checked off on correct dates and future items are scheduled on the correct date.
  
• Schedule all inspections timely to prevent delays to the build schedule. 
• Identify and effectively communicate schedule challenges, risks, and conflicts to department heads and provide suggestions and creative solutions.
  
• Collaborate and communicate with purchasing regarding concerns or difficulties with Sub Contractors. 
• Answering incoming calls; ensuring information is communicated properly and timely to proper parties.

Qualifications:

• Possess strong mathematical skills and ability for problem solving scenarios. 
• Knowledge of construction means and methods.
• Recognize areas of concern and potential improvements to schedule sequencing.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $23- $25 per hour

Salary : $23 - $25
