Trinity Rail is hiring a Chemical Cleaner at our Jonesboro plant.

The Chemical Cleaner position is a great opportunity for a resilient, team-minded individual who does not stray away from a challenge. As a member of the team at Trinity, you’ll use jigs/holding fixtures to lay out pieces to be welded according to blueprints, layouts, schematics, or work orders and uses manual/semi-automatic/automatic welding equipment to join, surface, fabricate and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials. Inspects completed work for conformance to specifications and performs minor maintenance to equipment.
Utilizes chemical processes to clean the interior of rail cars in preparation for maintenance work.
What you’ll do:
• Purge surfaces with water and or non-hazardous chemicals
• Operate hand-held blast
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and work environment
• Safely and efficiently perform all essential functions of the job
What you’ll need:
• Minimum 1 - 2 years of related experience
