- Analyze life-to-date Internal Rate of Returns (IRRs) on railcars purchased in the secondary market
- Use Excel-based modeling and data manipulation to evaluate the performance of secondary market investments
- Learn and apply discounted cash flow valuation metrics and related assumptions
- Collaborate with the data management team to source necessary information
- Prepare and present findings on the performance of secondary market investments
- Support the development and implementation of investment strategies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution
What you’ll need:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting
- Strong understanding of financial modeling and discounted cash flow analysis
- Knowledge of Weighted Average Cost of Capital (WACC) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR)
- Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and modeling
- Experience with SQL is a plus
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
