Foreman - Direct

Trinity Rail is hiring a Foreman, Mobile Repair at our Hawarden, IA Mobile Site.

What you'll do:

·         Responsible for overseeing of production, employees and employee engagement.

·         Monitor and adapt processes and scheduling to accomplish manufacturing goals

·         Determine causes of operating problems, consult schematics and order or fabricate replacement parts

·         Inspect completed work for conformance to specifications. Tests and troubleshoots product operation and makes adjustments.

·         Plan activities for multiple customer locations, guide crews on materials needed and proper repairs that meet AAR/FRA requirements

·         Coordinate incoming inventory and material usage

·         Prepare billing repair cards for collection of repair costs

·         Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of hourly employees

·         Lead employees in various functions including parts and component management, safety, quality assurance, etc.

·         May inspect completed work for conformance to specifications

·         Works closely with all support departments to accomplish all goals/assignments

·         Familiar with RX and TAS

·         Ability/Willingness to learn all aspects of Mobile Repair, Coatings, Cleaning, Valves, Brakes, etc.
