What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Inspector-Entry position at Trinity Careers?
TrinityRail Maintenance Services, Inc is searching for a talented team player to full the open role of Entry QA Inspector at our Shell Rock, IA facility.
In this role, the Quality Inspector will make visual and measured inspection of products to ensure conformance with standards and determines if product meets all requirements. Inspects incoming materials or plates, outgoing materials, or fittings and welds throughout the manufacturing process.
What you’ll do:
- Understand and apply quality science and tools
- Perform as Welding Inspector Specialist (WIS) level II or Quality Inspection Specialist (QIS) level II or able to achieve in 6 months
- Work under the supervision of a Level 2 certified inspector
- Follow all safety rules and practices
- May be involved in safety committees or initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
What you’ll need:
- Basic knowledge of inspection tools and measuring equipment
- Basic knowledge of operational function to be inspected
- Manufacturing experience helpful
