Job Title: Campus Safety & Security Officer
The Trinity Christian College is seeking a full-time Campus Safety & Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our entire campus community during the overnight shift (6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.).
Responsibilities:
- Crime Prevention and Investigation: Patrol campus areas, investigate reported crimes, and prevent potential incidents.
- Fire Prevention and Investigation: Conduct fire safety inspections, respond to fire alarms, and investigate potential causes of fires.
- Emergency Response: Provide immediate assistance in emergency situations, such as medical emergencies or natural disasters.
- Traffic Direction and Control: Manage traffic flow on campus, including directing pedestrians and vehicles.
- Parking Enforcement: Ensure compliance with parking regulations and issue citations as necessary.
- Crowd Control: Maintain order and safety during large events and gatherings.
- General Safety: Identify and mitigate potential hazards, and provide general assistance to faculty, staff, students, and guests.
This position requires a substantial amount of physical activity, including walking and climbing stairs. The successful candidate must possess a State of Illinois license as an unarmed security officer.
