Daycare Teacher and/or Assistant Teacher

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Christian Daycare Teacher for our 2 and 3 year old class to support our ministry. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and creating a safe, nurturing environment for their growth and development. Applicants with experience teaching Abeka curriculum is preferred. All Daycare teachers are required to obtain CPR and First Aid training. Prior to hire, each employee must have a criminal records check, CBC and TB Skin Test. Early Childhood credentials or equal experience is preferred. Trinity Daycare is a ministry of Trinity Free Will Baptist Church; thus, all staff members are hired understanding the higher standard to which they must hold themselves.

Responsibilities
- Educate and engage children in various activities to promote learning and development
- Implement age-appropriate curriculum to enhance children's cognitive, social, and emotional skills
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all children in your care
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns

Skills
- Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or educational setting
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices
- Strong classroom management skills to create a structured learning environment
- Ability to provide special education support when needed
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred
- Familiarity with infant care practices is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $16.00 per hour
