Elementary Teacher (K-6)

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Elementary (K-6) Teacher to join our Christian school. In this role, you will be responsible for creating lesson plans and delivering instruction across core subjects while integrating biblical principles into daily learning. The ideal candidate will have a strong personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to fostering a Christ-centered classroom environment. The successful candidate will nurture both academic and spiritual growth while encouraging students to develop a love for learning. Additionally, this role requires a dedication to mentoring and discipling students in their faith journey.

Elementary (K-6) Teacher Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and biblical principles.
• Teach core subjects such as math, language arts, science, and social studies.
• Foster a structured, engaging, and Christ-centered learning environment.
• Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
• Utilize differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Integrate technology and hands-on learning to enhance student engagement.
• Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success.
• Maintain a well-managed classroom that promotes positive behavior and respect.
• Provide additional support to students as needed.
• Participate in faculty meetings, school events, and professional development activities.

Elementary (K-6) Teacher Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Teaching experience in an elementary classroom setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to integrate faith-based principles into academic instruction.
• Proficient in using technology to support instruction. Including, but not limited to experience with or ability to learn and effectively use the school’s Information Management System to configure gradebook settings, enter and grade assignments, input lesson plans, take attendance, and communicate with parents.
• Commitment to Christian education and student discipleship.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
