What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Engineer position at Trinity Consultants Engineering & EHS Workforce Solutions?
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support regulatory reporting (Emissions Inventory, Title V, NESHAPs, SPCC, Tier II, TRI, RCRA, NPDES, etc.)
- Support the ISO 14001 - auditing, root cause analysis, etc.
- Gather and report to corporate environmental performance based on company defined parameters.
- Evaluate environmental metrics and develop recommendations to continue to meet and improve environmental performance.
- Support ESG and CSR programs.
- Develop and deliver relevant and effective training to employees on EHS topics.
- Respond to emergency situations that could occur inside or outside of standard working hours.
- Monitor regulatory changes and report on how those changes may affect operations.
- Support programs to document product compliance with regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor of Science degree in environmental or chemical engineering and 3 years of related experience; or a master’s degree with no experience.
- Computer related skills for reporting, SAP, database management, internet/intranet use, and typical Microsoft Office related programs
- Ability to read and interpret federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
- High degree of verbal and written communication skills to effectively interface with upper management, employees, contractors, and regulators.
- Physical ability to remain standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
