What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Engineer position at Trinity Consultants Engineering & EHS Workforce Solutions?
Responsibilities
- Manage and schedule waste transportation and disposal in accordance with regulations.
- Monitor and maintain Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS).
- Develop and implement various environmental plans and response protocols.
- Conduct on-site inspections to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations, and corporate environmental policies and guidelines.
- Maintain sites environmental files and reports.
- Routinely update Environmental Management System (EMS)
- Keep up-to-date with federal, state, and local environmental regulations by attending periodic training courses.
- Participate as requested in environmental compliance and various other environmental matters.
- Participate and / or direct EMS plant audits and activities.
- Maintain productive relationships with plant personnel and regulatory agency personnel.
- Responsible for successfully communicating and executing company policies, programs, and procedures.
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize.
- Works independently with outside consultants, contractors, and other resources.
- Support staff at other company locations in the Western United States.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
