What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Specialist position at Trinity Consultants Engineering & EHS Workforce Solutions?
Contractor Activities - 100% On-site
- Support for compliance with wastewater, stormwater, and potable water regulations (eg TDPES, DMR).
- Work with site labs regarding sampling and scheduling of samples, and biomonitoring.
- Submit compliance reports via EPA CDX and TCEQ STEERS programs.
- Class D water license to collect bacteriological samples for drinking water and chlorination level compliance.
- Support stormwater compliance, MSGP.
- Support facility waste management program - coordinate waste shipments and update waste profiles as needed.
- Make rounds in waste collection areas to ensure compliance with RCRA and site’s SPCC is being followed. Document weekly inspections of waste management areas.
- Have appropriate DOT training giving the ability to sign manifest for waste shipments by truck.
- Assist the facility in the preparation and submittal of the Clean Water Act Hazardous Substance Facility Response Plan.
- Assist with activities needed for Title V permit renewal.
- Assist where needed monitoring daily emissions to ensure permit compliance
- Compile data and report GHG emissions according to company guidelines
