The Process Safety Management (PSM) Consultant will be responsible for ensuring high-quality deliverables in the oil and gas industry. This role involves performing PHA Facilitation, PSM/RMP Audits, and other technical tasks as needed.
In this position, you will report to the Provenance Engineering Manager who will establish clear expectations in terms of work scope, quality, and efficiency on projects. You will work directly with clients on technical aspects of projects and must be able to communicate technical requirements, concepts, and deliverables clearly and concisely.
The emphasis is placed on the quality of the work product and the efficiency of work execution. The PSM Consultant is responsible for training and ensuring quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities
- Execute multiple PSM/RMP Audit projects simultaneously.
- Determine applicability and RMPlan program level requirements.
- Perform off-site consequence analysis using various models and document the rationale for the chosen model.
- Prepare, submit, and update RMPlans.
- Train personnel on PSM/RMP elements and program execution.
- Become client-facing, having a proven record of building and maintaining positive and professional client relationships.
- Prepare, facilitate, scribe, and write reports for PHAs (HAZOP, What-if, FMEA, HAZID).
- Select PHA methodologies based on process complexity and hazards involved.
- Ensure complete and accurate identification and capture of PHA scenarios, consequences, safeguards, and recommendations in PHA software.
- Provide client support during agency inspections and meetings.
- Implement best practices, materials, and aids to ensure superior customer experience and continued relationship management.
