Senior Level Safety Professional:

The ideal candidate brings experience and technical expertise to support, lead, manage, and grow the safety and health business. As a senior level professional, the candidate will be accountable for successfully managing and consulting on a variety of safety-related projects. An additional focal point of the role is to build sustainable business relationships, while networking with industry and professional organizations. Responsibilities:

Maintain positive and professional staff and client relationships.

Develop and implement strategic business/action plan(s) and provide leadership to develop staff.

Assist clients with Safety plans and programs, Industrial Hygiene (IH), and training.

Perform Safety compliance assessments/audits and implement follow-up corrective actions to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

Interface with clients to direct and improve effectiveness of compliance programs and to facilitate compliance with standards and regulations.

Prepare reports, develop programs and plans, and complete projects in accordance with established deadlines.

Ability to conduct live training sessions/webinars on a variety of EHS topics.

Identify and develop new opportunities, promote a positive relationship with clients, prepare effective technical proposals, and take an active role in the development of new business with existing clients.

Direct and develop complex, multi-discipline projects with multi-person project teams within scope, budget, and schedule expectations and ensure high-level quality on project deliverables.

Provide technical assistance and expertise.

Provide leadership in developing staff, managing their performance, and providing mentoring to drive their overall success.

Stay in tune to applicable regulatory changes.

Effective written/verbal communication and organization/analytical skills with experience writing detailed programs, plans, and reports including analyzing technical data.

Qualifications:

BS in Safety or related discipline.

5 years of relevant industry, regulatory, and/or consulting safety experience.

Acknowledged industry license or certification a plus.

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.

Self-motivated person who works well independently or in a group with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize given tasks and work efficiently towards completing them.

Ability to write well and develop thorough, concise written reports and make effective oral presentations.

Ability to analyze problems, identify alternative solutions, project consequences of proposed actions, and implement recommendations.

Ability to work in an office setting and/or function in a field environment that includes climbing, stooping, working at heights, and walking long distances.
