Job Title: Combo Welder/Fitter
Location: Broken Arrow, Ok
Job Type: Full-time Day Shift 6am-3pm Mon-Fri
Pay: $25-$30
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Combo Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with multiple welding processes, including MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux-Cored welding, as well as strong fitting skills. This role requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, fabricate and assemble metal components, and ensure high-quality welds in various positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW welding on various metals such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications.
- Fit, tack, and weld components according to design requirements.
- Use measuring tools, cutting equipment, and hand tools to prepare materials.
- Weld in different positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead).
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other shop equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following OSHA regulations.
- Troubleshoot welding and fitting issues to ensure precise fabrication.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 3 years of experience as a Combo Welder/Fitter.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, Stick, and FCAW welding.
- Ability to fit and fabricate metal structures accurately.
- Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety procedures.
- Experience with layout, cutting, grinding, and beveling.
- Ability to pass a welding test (if required).
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards (AWS, ASME, etc.).
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments.

* Weld separately or in combination, using aluminum, stainless steel, cast iron, and other alloys.
