Job Title: Fin Tube Operator Assistant (Helper)
Location: Tulsa, OK
Schedule: Day Shift, Monday-Thursday, 6am-4:30pm
Pay: $16-18/hr DOE
Description:
We are looking for a reliable and driven Fin Tube Operator Assistant to join our manufacturing team. This position plays a key role in assisting Fin Tube Operators in the production of high-quality products in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop skills and advance into a Fin Tube Operator role.
Reports to:
- Fin Tube Operator
- Shop Supervisor(s)
- Operations Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Fin Tube Operators with the setup, operation, and teardown of equipment.
- Help in loading and unloading materials needed for production, including tubes, fins, and other components.
- Monitor production processes to ensure equipment is running smoothly and notify operators of any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following company procedures for safety and cleanliness.
- Help inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Stage materials and packaging for the day’s production needs.
- Assist in packaging of finished products, including materials handling when required.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Fin Tube Operator or supervisor.
Skills and Requirements:
- Strong team player with the ability to follow directions and collaborate with others.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize to meet production deadlines.
- Ability to use measuring tools like tape measures and calipers.
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible with a strong focus on quality and safety.
- Physically able to stand, bend, twist, and lift materials throughout the shift.
- Willingness to learn and develop the skills necessary to become a Fin Tube Operator in the future.
Education/Experience Desired:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with basic mechanical operations or machinery is a plus.
