Industrial Setup Mechanic | Catoosa, Oklahoma
Hours : 40 - 50 hours per week
Job Type : Full-time
Pay Rate : $22.00 - $26.00 per hour, depending on experience
Experience Required : Minimum 3 Years
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Setup Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with heavy equipment setups, alignments, and addressing soft foot issues. This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to read and interpret layout prints to set and align equipment precisely.
Key Responsibilities
- Set heavy equipment according to layout prints and specifications.
- Perform precision alignments and address soft foot conditions.
- Install engines to compressors, motor box bases, and vessels on skids.
- Set compressors and other equipment accurately as per design and alignment requirements.
- Operate and use alignment gauges or laser alignment tools effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Setup Mechanic or in a related field.Proficiency in reading and interpreting layout prints.Strong knowledge of alignments and soft foot correction techniques.Hands-on experience with setting up engines, compressors, motor box bases, and vessels.Familiarity with alignment gauges and laser alignment tools.Tools
Candidates with their own tools will be given preference.Preferred Skills (Big Plus)

May also install, dismantle, or move machinery and heavy equipment according to plans.Repair or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment.Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components of machinery or equipment.Clean, lubricate, or adjust parts, equipment, or machinery.Disassemble machinery or equipment to remove parts and make repairs.Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear.Record repairs and maintenance performed.Operate newly repaired machinery or equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.Record parts or materials used and order or requisition new parts or materials, as necessary.Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices.Analyze test results, machine error messages, or information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment problems.Study blueprints or manufacturers' manuals to determine correct installation or operation of machinery.
