Responsibilities:
- Perform phlebotomy procedures with precision and efficiency.
- Skillfully initiate and monitor intravenous (IV) therapy as required.
- Conduct triage assessments, prioritize patient needs, and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
- Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with medical procedures and examinations.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Current LPN licensure in Oklahoma.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a healthcare setting as an LPN, preferably in a specialty clinic or hospital environment.
- Proficiency in phlebotomy techniques and demonstrated success in starting IVs preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
