Material Coordinator
Broken Arrow, OK
Full Time | Monday-Friday | $16-$17/hour
The Material Coordinator role is extremely important and pivotal to the growth of this great Broken Arrow company. This position is responsible for inspecting, receiving, packaging, and accurate inventory of parts and material. The A-Player to fill this seat will be responsible for improving the overall movement of material and product to production.
This position carries a high level of responsibility and must be filled by someone who is trustworthy, dependable, and has a customer service mentality.
Responsibilities:

- Focus on bringing quality issues to the surface.
- Deliver material to internal customers.
- Ensure work order cards are completed prior to movement of material.
- Manage the flow of Kanban cards in the process and communicate with the Material Management Supervisor and other key stakeholders on material status.
- Update NetSuite records accurately.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and productive workspace.
- Seek and apply continuous improvement/Lean concepts in work area.
- Work as a member of the Supply Chain team to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Perform accurate inventory counts.
- Receive and maintain forklift certification and perform daily safety checks.
- Act as a backup for other members on team in their absence.
Requirements:
- Must enjoy and excel in a fast-paced work environment.
- Have an eye for details.
- Must work well with all departments within the organization.
- Must become proficient in NetSuite within 6 months.
- Must become familiar with our bills of material within 6 months.
- Must be comfortable working with software such as MS Office, Teams, NetSuite, and other programs.
- Must maintain an orderly work environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must have a clean MVR record

6 months experience with NetSuite and Bills of Material
* Coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. Duties include reviewing and distributing production, work, and shipment schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and production problems.
* Review documents, such as production schedules, work orders, or staffing tables, to determine personnel or materials requirements or material priorities.
* Requisition and maintain inventories of materials or supplies necessary to meet production demands.
* Plan production commitments or timetables for business units, specific programs, or jobs, using sales forecasts.
* Examine documents, materials, or products and monitor work processes to assess completeness, accuracy, and conformance to standards and specifications.
* Compile information, such as production rates and progress, materials inventories, materials used, or customer information, so that status reports can be completed.
* Compile and prepare documentation related to production sequences, transportation, personnel schedules, or purchase, maintenance, or repair orders.
Salary : $16 - $17
