Signage Installer Lead (signage experience not required)
Temp to Hire - Direct hire for the right individual (go directly onto the company's payroll)!
Days: 7:00 am - 4:30 pm
$25-$30 per hour DOE
This is a rare opportunity to join a company who was the first one to introduce LED lighting of any kind in a commercial application. They need you to help carry on this tradition of excellence in the marketplace! If you have strong mechanical skills and have successfully managed a work crew (ie, construction, masonry, woodworking, HVAC, plumbing, etc.), you may be considered for this position!!
Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for installing custom signage and leading other crew members. There will be some occasional overnight travel after training. You are required to have a valid driver's license and a clean MVR.
Requirements:
In this position, you must be able to:
Lead and direct other crew members
Previous experience with installing signage preferred but not required
Use basic hand tools
Read a tape measure down to 1/16"
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes. May install or service street lights, intercom systems, or electrical control systems.
Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system
Place conduit, pipes, or tubing, inside designated partitions, walls, or other concealed areas, and pull insulated wires or cables through the conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
Work in all weather conditions
Shovel, climb and work from ladders and lift over 50#
Read, write, communicate in English
