We are looking for a dependable and experienced Cherry Picker Operator to join our team. This is an order picking role, so your main tasks will involve using the forklift to retrieve items from warehouse shelves for shipment and helping package and label them for order fulfillment. Other tasks include keeping track of inventory changes and completing daily production reports. Applicants should have at least six months to a year of experience operating a cherry picker or forklift, and some shipping and receiving experience is preferred.
We are looking for candidates to work in our Paint Department on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Use a cherry picker forklift to place or remove items on warehouse shelves
- Keep track of product relocations within the warehouse
- Use a cherry picker forklift with a work platform to elevate workers so they can check inventory
- Follow all safety regulations
- Move/relocate materials within the warehouse
- Verify accuracy and scan product upon receipt
- Operate cherry picker to pull orders
- Use scanner to complete cycle counts
- Could be cross-trained and required to work in other departments as needed
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical skills
- Must be able to read and comprehend English to ensure your safety and the safety of those working around you
- Strong, consistent work ethic
- Comfort with scanning technology
- Experience in Distribution or Logistics a plus
- Work effectively with peers and managers

Education and Experience:
- Six or more months of experience operating a cherry picker or forklift
- OSHA certification (preferred)
- High school diploma or GED
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to team lift up to 80 lbs. repetitively
