FLSA:                Non-exempt (eligible for overtime)

Location:            Breinigsville, PA (On-Site)

This position is responsible for safe, accurate, and efficient operation of a pallet jack for moving Trinity Glass inventory.  The main objective is to lower operating costs through decreased breakage, increased productivity, zero loading errors, and product out of stocks. Accurately and efficiently loads pallets onto trucks for delivery and moves inventory to appropriate location in warehouse.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Scans pick tickets prior to building the order and inputs necessary data
• Builds pallets accurately according to pick tickets
• Meets department goals for throw rate
• Operates electric and manual pallet jack to move product and pallets throughout the warehouse while performing the picking operation
• Assists team members in picking, staging, loading, unloading, rotation and storage of product
• Maintains cleanliness of the warehouse by sweeping floor, wiping up spills, and keeping product organized
• Follows and abides by all company safety rules
• Restocks and repacks damaged or miss-loaded product
• Assists truck drivers by assuring that their vehicles are unloaded in a timely manner
• Helps prepare for inventory
• Records all damage and shrinkage per Trinity Glass policy and handles damage/dents as they happen.
• Ensures floor space is kept open for safe maneuvering of inventory
• Conducts daily pallet jack inspections and follows safe operating procedures
• Seeks out inefficiencies in warehouse operations and makes recommendations

Required Skills/Abilities: 

• Basic math skills to count product
• Ability to read product labels and load sheets
• Ability to communicate directions to staff
• Basic math skills to count product

Education and Experience: 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Pallet jack certification

Physical Requirements: 

Able to push, pull over 50lb.

Stand for 8 hours
