Our forklift operators drive industrial trucks and specialize in warehouse transportation. Their primary responsibilities include loading and unloading warehouse material, optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency, and identifying damages to vehicles and/or product to ensure they are successful in their duties.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
- Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
- Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
- Transport raw materials to production workstations
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
- Keep updated records of inventory and activity logs
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proven experience as forklift operator
- Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
- Excellent physical condition and coordination

Education and Experience:
High School diploma or GED
Valid certification to operate forklifts
Physical Requirements:
- Standing with walking is required for most of the shift (not including breaks)
- Bending is required less than or up to 15% of the shift to reach product or debris
- Crouching is required up to 15% of the shift
- Kneeling is required occasionally
- Physical strength to handle up to 25-pound object, frequently. Some items weighing up to 75 lbs. to be handled occasionally (1-2 times per day)
- Above average coordination, including eye-hand, hand-foot and balance.
- Above average endurance
- Normal dexterity of hands and fingers with average repetition
- Site with ability to distinguish color; perception of sound is required; ability to communicate issues verbally and in written form
