Position Purpose:
The Hospice Nurse-RN (Registered Nurse) utilizes critical thinking skills to facilitate comprehensive nursing assessment, planning and care to maximize the comfort and health of patients and families in accordance with the interdisciplinary plan of care and regulatory requirements. In addition, the Hospice On-Call RN is expected to provide for patient needs as described below during entire shift providing for the full extent of patient needs during their shift.

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved nursing education program
Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Illinois
One (1) year experience as a professional acute care nurse
Preferred: At least 1 year Hospice
