Summary:

The Environmental Aide is a housekeeping position for Trinity Health Ann Arbor. A main function is to maintain the environment for the Health System by performing en Employment Type:Part time

Shift:

Night Shift

Description:

Part time nights every other weekend.

Status: Part Time

• Nights
• 7p to 7a
• 24 hours per week (every other weekend)
  
  

What you will need:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Current BLS certification or within 3 months of hire.
• Registered Nurse Aide (CENA) in the State of MI OR successful completion of Anatomy and Physiology College Course OR current enrollment in an accredited nursing program with successful completion of a nursing fundamentals course. Must provide evidence of current nursing program enrollment on an annual basis.
• Additional certifications considered: EMT/Medical First Responder, Medical Assistant, LPN.
• Equivalent work experience and/or equivalent training may also be considered.
  
  

What you will do:

• Demonstrates ability to care for the needs of patients in the department.
• Measures and records all patient intake, vital signs and documents appropriately.
• Collects urine, sputum and stool specimens and properly.
• Perform specialty procedures as assigned: wound care, simple splinting, EKG’s, etc.
