Provides professional administrative support to an Executive(s) or Officer(s). Communicates and collaborates with a variety of people at various levels within and outside the organization (i.e. board of directors, trustees, state and
accrediting agencies). Initiates, develops, and composes written communication; gathers, enters and prepares data. Decision making authority extends beyond prioritizing of own work to independent problem solving and managing
of schedules/priorities of an executive/officer. Because of the nature of this highly visible position, a high level of administrative skills, professionalism, positive attitude, tact, and diplomacy is expected of individuals in the role
along with the ability to proactively identify needs and independently work to resolve issues.

What the Executive Assistant will need:
- Associate degree in business or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., associate’s degree and three to five years of Executive Assistant experience) preferred
- Three years of administrative experience required.
- Five years of administrative/executive experience preferred.
