What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Specialist – Michigan Region position at Trinity Health Michigan?
Provides project management for key marketing initiatives and processes for the regional Trinity Health system including the brand, service lines and departments. Recommends and implements marketing and communications strategies to support regional and local growth, including identification of appropriate service delivery channels and promotional techniques to stimulate demand and build loyalty. Oversees development of marketing related communications materials such as brochures, e-newsletters, presentations, and poster copy.
What the Marketing Specialist will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Three to five years related experience exhibiting increasing levels of responsibility.

Strong knowledge of marketing principles and practices
Strong knowledge of customer channels, including social media, and their marketing applications - Demonstrated knowledge of market and customer research strategies and tools
- Event management experience
- Excellent Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
- Strong project management skills.
- Ability to operate under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
What the Marketing Specialist will do:
- Recommends and executes marketing strategies to support regional strategic plan for growth.
- In consultation with supervisor, develops tactical marketing plans to support identified marketing strategies
- Collaborates with communications and digital teams on tactical marketing plans
- Assists with ROI tracking
- Creates a variety of communications materials, including tool kits, brochures, presentations, handouts, newsletters, invitations, flyers, etc.
- Guides graphic design staff and internal clients to develop creative and concise marketing and communication pieces while maintaining brand, image and copy standards
- Plans, coordinates and leads special marketing events.
- Represents Supervisor at designated meetings.
- Coordinates and leads multiple marketing committees.
