Job Description:
Trinity Health Muskegon is seeking a compassionate and skilled RN Emergency Room nurse to join our dynamic team for a 13-week contract. As a key member of our emergency department, you will provide exceptional care to patients in urgent and critical conditions. This position offers night shifts (36 hours per week), providing a stable work schedule with competitive compensation.
As an RN in the Emergency Room, your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing and triaging patients in the emergency department
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring patient conditions and responding to changes in status
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
- Educating patients and families on medical conditions and post-care instructions
- Ensuring a high standard of care in a fast-paced and sometimes high-pressure environment
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Michigan
- Minimum of 1-2 years of ER nursing experience preferred
- BLS, ACLS, and other relevant certifications required
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
