Description
Position Purpose :
At Mercy Medical Center, the Cath Lab RN provides care to patients undergoing elective and emergent invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. This role performs a variety of tasks to ensure patient safety and comfort, including patient assessment and hemodynamic monitoring, pre-procedure preparation, and administration of conscious sedation.
What You Will Do
- Support the cardiologist by handling instruments, monitoring patient vitals, and administering medications during cardiac procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, obtaining consent, and providing post-procedure care instructions.
- Continuously monitor patient conditions and maintain accurate records of the procedures and patient care.
