Position Purpose:

Trinity Health Of New England is looking for a Manager of Operations for our Waterbury, CT market Physician practices! We are looking for someone who enjoys quality, productivity and financial management as well as mentoring a team of office staff to be prepared for the next step in their career. Our teams are fast-paced and this person would ensure optimal work environments for all physicians, advanced practice professionals and staff. What You Will Do

• Works closely with THONE Real Estate on expansion, renovation and renewal of properties.
• Evaluates staffing needs and conducts interviews, hires, orientations and coaching models/session to ensure successful outcomes/patient experiences.
• Comfortable with working with all departments within the organization regarding cross-functional operational issues, implement changes and informs staff of updates.
• Understanding of HIPAA and security policies to share with colleagues, includes reporting and write-ups.
• Contributes to overall quality of practice care through performance improvement techniques that impact patient care positively. 
  
  

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in business, management or health related field preferred.
• Minimally 10 years successful management experience in healthcare, physician practice preferred. Significant knowledge of administrative and operational issues related to physician groups, hospital and health systems.
• Strong leadership and human resource, management, financial and problem solving skills required.
• Thorough knowledge of regulations, policies, and procedure in the healthcare industry.
• Thorough knowledge of practice operations.
