Description:
We are seeking a Phlebotomy Technician to join our team at Johnson Memorial Hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining blood specimens, processing laboratory specimens for clinical analysis, and providing patient information to the appropriate caregiver.
Key Responsibilities:
- Properly identify patients according to policy and perform venipuncture using standard/butterfly methods.
- Label all specimens following laboratory policy.
- Receive, cancel, or process laboratory/microbiology specimens.
Requirements:
- Clinical experience in a medical office setting with knowledge of medical terminology.
