Saint Francis Hospital is looking for a Receptionist to join our Occupational Health Department. The Receptionist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and care to all patients and clients.
What you will do:
- Greets visitors to office
- Answers multi-line phone and triages calls
- Opening, sorting, coping and batching daily mail and checks for payment posting
- Balancing and reconciling bank deposits and provide daily reporting via excel spreadsheets.
- Posting payments for workers compensation claims and client charges.
- Completing attorney requests for billing and claim information.
- Performs clerical and secretarial tasks to support the department
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1 years' experience in healthcare preferred. Worker's Comp experience preferred
- Basic computer abilities.
- Excellent written, oral communication and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with medical terminology preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple phone lines simultaneously.
