What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at Trinity Health PACE?
Position Purpose
Join our team as a Dietary Aide, where you'll support our mission to provide excellent dietary services to our participants while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
What You Will Do
- Assist in food preparation and serving, following safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain a clean kitchen and dining areas, including equipment and supplies.
- Prepare nutritional supplements and snacks under the Dietitian’s guidance.
- Foster positive relationships with team members and participants.
- Assist with inventory and restocking of supplies as needed.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and attend mandatory training.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Minimal Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred: 1-2 years of food preparation experience in a healthcare setting.
- Prior experience working with elderly or frail populations preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and in teams.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and maintain physical activity throughout the shift.
