What You’ll Do
- Prepare and cook meals in large quantities
- Follow dietary guidelines to meet residents’ nutritional needs
- Prepare modified textures, including purees and mechanical soft diets
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
- Ensure proper use and care of kitchen equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in large-scale cooking preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and dietary procedures
- Experience in long-term care or working with seniors is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
