JOB SUMMARY
-
Performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures at a technical level requiring limited supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures utilizing existing standards as a guide. Demonstrates the ability to utilize independent judgment in the completion of routine exams procedures. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required in conjunction with a M.R.I. Supervisor, or in the absence of a supervisor, and may be assigned station fill position within other areas of the department. Provides direction to M.R.I. Tech I's . Assures compliance to all, state, JCAHO, ODH and other regulatory bodies through an ongoing review of required documentation and system analysis. Recognizes the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one, and to put forth the utmost quality as a technologist, and understanding that negative interactions with any customer, either internal or external, will not be tolerated.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education
-
High school graduate. Completion of a formal Radiologic technology training program in an A.M.A. approved school specializing IN Radiologic Technology. Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Training and Experience
-
One year clinical M.R.I. Experience. Must be registered in the M.R.I. sub-specialty by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists within one year of hire. Must possess a thorough knowledge of multi-plane cross-sectional anatomy and related physiology required and demonstrate the clinical skills to function independently.

BLS provider or obtain within 3 months of hire.
